Review your moving checklist until this point, and make sure you didn’t forget anything (or anyone). Be sure to defrost your fridge and freezers at least one day before moving. Track how you will pay for the movers, trip expenses like gas and food, or your new furniture and appliances. If any home insurance issue arises, you’ll be prepared with photo evidence. This is especially important if you’ve been renting.
